Connections & capacity in action program
What is it?
We are so excited to offer something a little different for children and adults with CHARGE and their siblings this year. Their very own, specially tailored program. Imagine two days of exploration, growth, self reflection and connection with the CHARGE community, all facilitated seamlessly by allied health professionals.
Whilst parents are attending the conference, this is a golden opportunity for children and adults with CHARGE syndrome and siblings to connect, and be given the opportunity to regulate, extend their skills and experience sensory integration, all within the safety of experienced care. This program is all about fun and play. Participants will have their curiosity sparked, joy expressed and engagement focused. It will be run by the dynamic Kaya Lyons and her team from Active OT for Kids. The goal is to provide a quality program of care that supports the unique needs of all participants.
Kaya will set up a meeting with parents/participants to chat about their special care requirements, prior to the conference.
Kaya from Active OT for Kids, describes the program she will offer at our conference.
